Hi Mli7777,

My name is Patrick Betts and I am a DataDomain TSE.  If you would email me the serial number of the affected system I'll take a look at the AutoSupports ( patrick.betts@emc.com ). You may need to open a support case on this matter.  Also, mtree, directory, and pool (along with collection) are types of replication modes you can use between DataDomain systems.  The issue with one system seeing both and the other seeing just one could mean the one system may have lost it's authentication to the other machine.

Best Regards,

Patrick

EDIT:  The system was saying that the replication partner was disabled due to a manual throttle that was being applied during work hours.

Hi mil7777,

In the DataDomain GUI under the "Replication tab"  you can see the Type of replication in your enviroment (Pool , mtree, directory  etc)  Maybe the answer is quite simple .. they are disabled as mentioned in the error message.

Under the "Replication tab" you can enable the pair again, othereise verify free space on the destination, license (!?) , filesys enabled? ,  Same DD os? (So no upgrades of DDos where made on DD system A but not upgraded on DD system B), All paths are case sensetive, Can source and destination ping / communicate each other? Also make sure to review your replication throttle settings.

From putty / command line you can do some basic troubleshooting:

#replication status all

Output should be 'Enabled' 'Connected' and 'Synced' this current date.
