Data Protection with VNX, Data Domain and Tape
I have a Customer who currently has a VNX 5200 Array, and would like to do backups. He has a DR site, interconnecting to the Primary Site, using Dark Fiber. The Customer requires a Solution that will backup his Data on the VNX on the Primary Site using Networker, to a Data domain DD2500, as well as to tape for longer term, regulatory requirement. Kindly advise on a Design I would adopt for this customer, given their Current requirements and infrastructure in place.

So you have customer who is paying you and your want us to give you design?
You didn't say where DD and PTLs are - primary, secondary or both sites? Or is this also to be covered by "forum design"?
