DD160 re-image problem

Question

have a DD160 running 5.1.0.9, wanted to re-image it with a newer version, downloaded 5.4.1.0, when it gets ready to install it says it needs >6gb, I have 3x2gb memory sticks. So, okay, took 1 from another and now it says it needs <8gb. So how do I handle this... new to the DD items.

Hi fxk, Are you using EMC DataDomain memory DIMMs? The DD160 only supports 3 x 2GB DIMMs and needs these need to be installed in slots 1A, 2A and 1B. cheers, Rich.
