DD6300 - Use as Backup Target for Microsoft Data Protection Manager

Hi,

Can someone please guide me on how to use DD as backup target for Microsoft data protection manager software. I know we can configure it via using VTLs, however is there any other we can configure DD as backup storage ?

I have heard about DD boost, however not sure about how can we use that if possible.
