Did you know that 'changeme' is the default sysadmin password for DDVE2.0
sysadmin/changeme
This differs to what historically Datadomain used on their systems.

Hi,
You can pick up password reset commands in here (if you can log on with a sysadmin account):DD VE 2.0 Install and Administration guide
If the sysadmin account has been lost and no alternate login credentials are known, maybe some magic could be preformed, but this is not documented.

I don't this it is that new. DDMC uses the same. So does Avamar and so on. It is common practice these days. Some people are used to abc123, but that was from USB installation era.
