DR process

Hi,

I'm looking for some help and advice, I'm new to data domain's .

We have DLM4200 and data domain's  at each of our sites - (LIVE/DEV) we use them to failover / failback when we do a DR test for our IBM MAINFRAME.

so that our live system is running from our DEV system.

We normally failover using super putty sessions and Gui.

taking the drives offline via SDSF on the IBM MAINFRAME.

We have to bring up 2 Data domain sessions , 4 DLM sessions , 4 super putty session and 2 Data domain user session and also 2 IBM mainframe session.

Our last DR took 36 minutes to failover and 38 Minutes to fail back. We are looking to get these times down if possible.

I've heard that this can be done using scripts or GDDR, I've never used either of then and have been looking into trying to set this up for our DR test , but not really sure how to start it or which one would be better for us.

I was wondering if there's a step by step guide with images to help me along the way.

Regards Robert
