IP configuration for Data Domain
Hello,
Ask two questions.
1. In DD2500, Can i configure two IP's with the same subnet to two NIC interfaces ? Will this cause route issue ?
For example,
192.168.1.1 NIC1
192.168.1.2 NIC2
2. How to bind CIFS or NFS service to a special NIC(or IP)?

yes you can. one of them will be used as default -- depends which one comes up first. regarding CIFS/NFS it will use what ever IP used to map/mount the share on the client. e.g. use 1.1 to map CIFS shares and 1.2 to mount NFS shares.
