Issue with CRL Assembly deployment for DDboost SQL backup using MS App Agent 4.7
Hi All,
I am working to setup ddboost backup for SQL 2016 server in a cluster environment.
we created a service account to use for this installation and configuration. This account has been provided required privileges which are mentioned in below two guides -
Microsoft Application Agent 4.7 Installation Guide
Microsoft Application Agent 4.7 SQL Server User Guide
I logged in with my account, launched the installer as administrator. While deploying CLR assembly I chose "Use Database Authentication" and provided service account name and password.
Now I am facing issue with CLR deployment. I tried another option "Use Windows Authentication" but no luck.
Then on another cluster I logged in with service account itself and chose "Current Windows User" to deploy the CLR assembly. This time everything worked fine.
But I cannot do it for all the servers due to internal security policies. I opened a case with EMC support too but It was sadly not a good experience. My case was transferred from one to another and so on.
If anyone could help me with this, it will be highly appreciated.
Regards,
Pawan
