Lost access to CIFS share subfolder

I have CIFS share set up on Datadomain and no problems with access. But I managed to mess up with owner/permissions with one subfolder of subfolder (\\datadomain\sharename\subolder1\subfolder2)  and I can't access subfodler2 anymore with any account. I have tried different accounts as owner for subfolder2 but it always changes back to "Unable to display current owner" after Apply. How do I fix permissions for subfolder2 or how do I delete it if I can't fix permissions?

get in touch with support, there is a data domain version of xcacls command that can be used to reset permissions. You need to be in shell, hence support assistance is required.

agree, at least until you see the procedure take place, understand it (not very difficult) and take good notes. Once you are in bash you can cause some major, unrecoverable damage.

Seems that officially contacting the support is right way. Wrong way is doing it yourself like described http://thjones2.blogspot.com/2013/05/acl-madness.html
