Separating traffic

Hi,

I am setting up a DD2500 with CIFS in a Windows network.  Do I use DNS to separate management, replication and backup?

Thanks

That's my approach for my DD4200 deployment:

dd4200-prod-impi.bronsonhg.org - 10.x.3.231

dd4200-prod-mgmt.bronsonhg.org - 10.x.3.232

dd4200-prod-veth1.bronsonhg.org - 10.x.3.233

dd4200-prod-veth0.bronsonhg.org - 10.x.3.234

In our environment, we have CIFS and NFS (DDBoost) traffic on veth0, and replication to dd4200-dr on veth1.  The DNS entry for the mgmt interface is the only one we use via DDMC.  It's pretty straightforward.  Let us know if that helps!

That's exactly what I was looking for, thanks!
