Slow DD Replications

We're having difficulty keeping the DataDomain's in sync since migrating to DDBoost with Veeam 8 and am not sure why.  We were replicating the same dataset when were we're writing to it via CIFS.

We have two DD's in place over a 10Mbps connection.  We're using Veeam 8 with DD boost to write to the repositories.  Backups are configured with Full's weekend (once a month active full, synthetic full the other weekends).  We did an initial see locally and have turned on throttling to simulate the connectivity between the offices.  It looks like each week after the full backups it's trying to send the full 5+ TB to the destination.  Is there anything that can be done to make sure that we can replicate this dataset within a couple of days?
