Arcserve
Hi,
I am trying to write a report to compare backup clients within DPA and our server inventory eg list servers in inventory but not being backed up. For Netbackup, clients are created as nodes and I can run a report to do the compare. For Arcserve the clients are not created as nodes so running the same report only the backup server is listed as being in DPA. Is there a way of comparing Arcserve clients against and external inventory?

If you haven't already, find (download) a copy of the "Data Collection Reference Guide" for your DPA release; this might help you figure out where DPA stores a piece of data you can find in your ArcServe configuration. It's been a God-send for me with TSM.
