Backup client status custom report

Dear All

     I am trying to create a DPA backup report that contains a table with the following columns - Client, #success, #failed. Where Client is the client name, #success is the number of backups with status=success and #failed is the number of backups with status=failed. I have looked through all the operators but cannot find one that seems to do the job. Does anyone have an idea if this can be done easily.
