Backup coverage report
Can DPA advise us which clients are not being protected? Perhaps by querying our AD domains or vCenter servers and comparing those host records to what Avamar is protecting? We are using a mix of client/agent and VM image-level backups and want to spot any gaps that may exist in our backup coverage. We are switching from CommVault and this is something that can be done natively with that product so we would like to find something similar in DPA. It seems very powerful but has a bit of a learning curve to get to the truly useful reports. Thanks!

Thank you. We will get a demo license to add VMware in DPA and check out the report you mentioned. However, it's very disappointing that a product called Data Protection Advisor cannot advise you of holes in your backup coverage unless the server is a VM. That is a pretty important and fundamental report.
