Custom Report for Top 20 Servers writing Data

Hello All,

We have a DPA in place to monitor Avamar jobs.

I need to pull out a report of top 20 clients which is writing huge amount of data in Avamar.

Can some one please help me out in this?

Many Thanks.

Sure - that's easy.  In the template window above, click on the Table Format button.

In the Format Columns window, you can change the scaling from "Automatic" to a specific value:

An easy way to do this is to start with the System Report Template called "Backup Top 10 Largest Clients".  This template has almost everything you need.  In the design window, select the Data Source "Backup Statistics", change the Limit from 10 to 20.  That's it!

This is the template when set to 10:

And this is the exact same template, but set to 20:

Hello Karl,

Thanks for your response.

That works for me, also i would like to modify the template more.

I am running a report for one month and datasize is coming in Peta Bytes (PB) is there any way i can modify and display the result in Giga Byte only (GB).

Thanks in Advance.

Thanks Karl

I have one more confusion about this report.

Does this report show the amount of data that has been backed up by avamar in specified period of time?

That's the whole purpose of the scope of the report.  If you set the scope to "Last Day", Avamar report the sum capacity of the listed backups within the last 24 hours.  Try setting the scope to "Last Day", "Last Week" and "Last Month" to see for yourself.

Let us know if that helps!
