Data written to a media format
I'm trying to get this information out but it doesn't seem to be a particularly easy report! What I want to do is report on the number of tapes and/or the amount of data that was written to a particular tape format in a particular period.
For the total size I am unable to use the Total Size data source as this does not allow you to query against cartridge type.
For the media count I have successfully pulled out information with regards to volumes expiring using the Media Count data source and querying start time
No Events found!

I'm reasonably certain now that it is not easily possible to get this information out, particularly across a period of dates.
The other part of this that I mentioned was regarding expired media; I am now fairly sure that the information is incorrect as a seperate report showing volumes with the expired flag=true (and cartridge type=Ultrium 2/3) on the Media Count shows the changes in the number of expired tapes increases more than the number of tapes that did expire (and that some of these would have been reused) - this information is derived from the Media Count data source using the Expiry Date as the Start/End Time Filed and cartridge type=Ultrium 2/3

One further point, I also calculate total size of expired data using Total Size again using Expiry Date at the Start/End Time Field - I can't split this data between media types but this also contradicts the number of tapes - for example in the report I have in front of me I typically have 4TB a week expiring (this is a similar figure to the weekly backup figure so is probably correct); while tape expiries is indicated as about 4 LTO2 and 1LTO3 a week. This also contradicts the canned report volume expiration report which shows about 5 tapes A DAY expiring - that report is compiled from the Media Details data source at a point in time and then uses Count By Interval; however I want to gather this data historically and not from a point in time and I want the dates to match up with my other columns.
