I belive you can,
After you configure the LDAP Authentication under User &security.
Edit "Auto Login Properties"
Click on Enable Auto Login
Keep default user role to none,
click on Enable Group Mapping and then just follow the fields
I have personally not done it yet, I will be doing it soon, since my servers are still in implementation phase.
Let me know if it does work
