LDAP Config in DPA 5.7.1
So, we are upgrading our DPA version to 5.7.1, and we want to leverage the new LDAP solution that was recently implemented. I found the LDAP tab under File->System Settings, but after configuring the options, it does not appear that DPA is even attempting to communicate with the LDAP server... I know there has to be a (relatively) simple fix to this, but I'm not seeing any other places for the system where I can specify LDAP... My LDAP config settings are below:
Server:
Use SSL: unchecked
Port: 389
LDAP Version: 3
Base Name: dc=foo,dc=bar,dc=fnord
Identification Attribute: uid
Anonymous Bind: checked
I was trying this with Use SSL checked, and the Port set to 636, but I changed it to 389 for testing purposes, and since it still didn't work, I figred that the port was probably not the issue.
Also, this is running on RHEL 5 64-bit.
Any help or advice you could offer would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi,
You are right that this may well be a simple config change, however with LDAP configuration it is much easier to troubleshoot over a webex where we can view the settings in LDAP and also what is configured in LDAP itself.
If you could open an SR and ask them to create an escalation/task to myself, David Russell, I would be more than happy to assist in configuring this with you.
Kind Regards
David
