2000-0146 is a faulty hard drive - replace the drive and reload Windows.  That will take care of it.

Could you please guide me with the steps. Also would like to update you that my laptop was working fine before I started the Windows update and once it got completed this issue occurred.

2.5" SATA drive, 9.5 mm or slimmer.  For slimmer drives, you may need to install a spacer.
