Broadcom NetXtreme network device firmware error
OmEnt indicates our PowerEdge R540 needs Broadcom NetXtreme network device firmware, 22.0 (Network_Firmware_DFF48_WN64_22.00.6.EXE). It's currently on firmware version 21.81.3.
The OMEnt update job fails. When I manually download the file and run it locally, I get the error, "This Update Package is not compatible with your system configuration".
So OMEnt and the Dell downloads page indicate that the server needs this firmware update. However, it will not install.
I'm running Version 3.8.2 (Build 8). Is there a fix for this?

@DELL-Young E ; That is what I've done, as mentioned in my post --I manually downloaded the file, ran it and got the error posted (not compatible).
The model is identified as NetXtreme BCM5720 Gigabit Ethernet PCIe. The server OS is Windows 2019.
So both OMEnt task and manual install fail. I imagine that the file provided is incorrect.

Hello justin gray,
This odd. Version 22.00.6 does show in the Applies to section at the bottom : BCM5720. That is NetXtreme.
NetXtreme 22.00.6 - https://dell.to/3LgW2y8
There is another NetXtreme-E 22.00.07.60.
Can you try execute it? It should fail
https://dell.to/3qCXjrc
Are you using right click Run As Administrator?
Other troubleshooting steps to run:
drain flea power (shut down, disconnect power cables and Network cables, hold in power button 20 seconds with cords removed).
Reseat LOM page 100 : https://dell.to/3NmBsy3
Then plug in NIC and power but wait 2 minutes before power on to give DRAC time to initialize.
Test results
Retry update using LifeCycle Controller single package update 22.00.6 using the windows .exe file
SingleDellPackageUpdate
On boot up press F10
Look at video starting at 52 Seconds for steps

Run diagnostics:
Boot to F11 on Dell Splash screen, selecting Boot Manager -> System Utilities -> Launch Dell Diagnostics. Note any messages and continue testing.

@Dell -Charles R Yes, logged into the server as admin and also right-click 'run as admin'.
The alternate file you listed has already been successfully run, as we also have a pair of the E-series adapters installed on this server.
At this point I'm going to assume it's and issue with the file. As it's not a critical update and is only impacting one server, I'll wait for another catalog update.
