Can't create an "Auto Deploy" template
Hi, I have a PowerEdge R340 server managed by OpenManage Enterprise 3.2. I created a server template off of this server, and tried to create an auto-deploy template based on this server template. After I selected the server template in the auto deploy template wizard, I got to the "Target Information" part. When I entered the service tag of the R340 and clicked the Validate button, it showed a "1 invalid. Valid identifiers required to continue..." error. What am I doing wrong? Is there any other service tag I should use for this?

mm77,
I would suggest starting with uninstalling 3.2 and installing OpenManage Enterprise 3.2.1.. Then if there is any question on it you can find the steps listed on page 64 and 65 here.
Now with the issue, you will normally see that error if the svc tag has already been discovered, as it won't accept svc tags you've already discovered.
Auto Deploy is for undiscovered systems to auto-apply a template when they get discovered.
Hope this helps.
