Does Dell OpenManage Enterprise reboot the server during a template push?
When trying to push a new template in Dell OpenManage Enterprise, It gives the message the system may reboot. Has anyone ever tried this? Version 7.1 Trying to push out a new group for iDRAC logins.

Hi Chris,
Thanks for the help on this issue. I'm working on a test case now, and I'll let you know how it turns out.
Thanks,
John

Hi @johdav432,
What kind of template would that be that you are mentioning pushing out a new group for iDRAC logins? Depends on the templates baselines created, some configuration have Server Options, which you can choose between options for schedule reboots.

Hi Joey,
The Template is for the iDRAC / AD Group Configuration. We want to add a new ADGroup so they can login to the iDRAC's without using root or dellome. We are concerned that when we push out the template to accomplish this, the server could reboot. We have 1200 Dell PowerEdge servers that are in production, and we can't reboot these.

Johdav432,
Idrac only templates won't need a reboot, as long as BIOS/NIC/RAID aren't included in them.
Let me know if this helps.
