Error deploying Template on Server

Question

Hello everyone,

I'm assuming that I'm not doing something quite right or that I'm overlooking something.

I have rolled out new local iDRAC users on a server using a template. I have created the template from a reference system

The message after the job is done looks like this:

In the job overview, the job is displayed as "Failed" but the users were created correctly on the server.

Unfortunately, I do not yet understand where I am going wrong. I would appreciate a hint.

to solve this try this recommended actions:

a) Review Template Contents:

Examine your template to ensure it only contains the necessary configurations for user creation.
Remove any unnecessary or potentially conflicting settings.

b) Check Logs:

Review the OpenManage Enterprise logs for more detailed information about the job execution.
Check the iDRAC logs on the target server for any additional insights.

c) Verify iDRAC Firmware:

Ensure the iDRAC firmware on the target server is up-to-date and compatible with your OpenManage Enterprise version.

d) Test with a Simplified Template:

Create a new, simplified template with only user creation settings and test the deployment.

e) OpenManage Enterprise Version:

Verify you're running the latest version of OpenManage Enterprise, as newer versions might have resolved similar issues.

f) Dell Support:

- If the issue persists, consider opening a software support ticket with our phone support software team, providing them with the full logs and details of your environment.
