Feature: Limit access for a user to server group
Hi,
when installing OME I had been hoping to be able to delegate "Manager" access level to specific users for a predefined group of servers. I.e. run one OME instance and allow people of the networking department to manage the hosts in the networking group.
Is anything on the roadmap for this?

It does appear that you can configure user roles for access by group, as you can see and learn more on page 6-8 here. That guide will be able to assist you a lot with configuring, and understanding OME.

Hi,
Thanks for your post and request. Currently, this is being looked at and planned for a future release but i will not be able to commit a certain release to you. But, I will pass on this request to the right guys so that they can prioritize it. Please keep these requests coming.
Though, you can create specific users with different privileges for now.
