GUI issues after upgrade to 3.5.0.60
I have upgraded from 3.4 to 3.5.0.60 and now parts of the gui is broken. The upgrade went through without issues.
When I log in I see an error "An unknown error has occurred. Please try again."
I have also noticed that the "group" box on the Devices page is broken:
or the Application Settings - Console and Plugins page:
I have cleared all cookies, local storage, etc. restarted browser, did a full reload of the page. I am using Firefox 81.0.2 on macOS. I had no issued with 3.4.
I have noticed in the debugger log errors an error message "get User Groups Info failed Error:..." and "Get user permission failed". It's an XHR call to the URL
https:// ome.example /omc/api/Console/UserGroupsInfo/198dabee-78dc-4d1f-ba99-61471a038273 ? __=1602653604720
which fails with an error 404. All other calls to the API don't have an UUID in the URI, thus I have tried the URL
https://ome.example/omc/api/Console/UserGroupsInfo/?__=1602653604720
which retrieves json with no error.
I tried Safari but only get a "Cookies must be enabled to proceed. Enable cookies and refresh the page" on the login page, even though cookies are enabled and not blocked and other websites don't have any issues with cookies.

Hi,
Sometimes browser cache could because an issue but you said that already cleared Firefox.Could you try on other supported browsers via this link? https://dell.to/2SX1OLW;
If the issue will continue then this is probably related to this. After a successful upgrade to OpenManage Enterprise sometimes the following error repeatedly appears on the control panel. "An unknown error has occurred. Please try again."
This issue is caused by the 'Post Upgrade Task' not working after the upgrade is complete. To correct this, manually launch the "Post-Upgrade Task" from the Monitor -> jobs view. Running this task will trigger the work of all of the discovery jobs, so it may take some time to complete this process.
Let us know if this helps.

I don't have any "Post Upgrade Task" in the job list. I only have a "Console Update Execute Task" followed by the discovery jobs.

Hi,
What is the status of "console update execute task" in job details? Did you try to access another supported browser? Do you have any previous snapshot if need to revert?
if you have it please revert the snapshot and let’s try the following upgrade sequence.
1) Once the Appliance is back to previous version, confirm it is working ok. Make sure there are no jobs/task running in OME 3.4, before proceeding with step 2.
2) Take a new snapshot before attempting to upgrade again.
3) Start the upgrade and let it do its due processes. Allow 2-3 hours minimum for the upgrade and Post-Upgrade
Post-Upgrade job to complete. The appliance may reboot a few times.
4) After 2-3 hours. Check if Post-Upgrade job has completed or run at all (in Monitor -> Jobs Tab). If not run, then run it manually.
5) Wait until the Post-Upgrade job completes and then run a full re-inventory of devices if the default inventory job had not run
6) Check if appliance is in good health and let me know the outcome.

I tried Chrome on macOS and it actually worked there. Then I tried a new Firefox profile and it worked there, too. With the old profile, it didn't even in safe mode. I thought removing all data in the Storage Inspector would fully remove all saved data associated with a website and a Shift-Reload reloads all other cache content. But it seems, I was wrong. Eventually I found another place where I can clear site data: Preferences - Privacy & Security - Cookies and Site Data - Manage Data... I searched for the hostname of my OME server and then selected remove and save changes. This seems to remove something more. After I did that, the error message disappeared and the green bar with the notification for the available power plugin update was there.
Thanks for the help. Btw, the jobs list for me only shows "user generated" jobs by default. I had to switch to "all" or "system generated" in the filter to see the other jobs like the post-upgrade task.

O.K. Not quiet. I still got the error message. Now on the Devices page, not directly after login, in my new Firefox profile. It seems the power plugin update, again, caused the same pain. Another new profile and Chrome worked.
Again, I have removed everything from Storage Inspector, clear Site Data via Preferences, did a Shift-Reload to the cache and then, finally, the error won't show.
