High availability for OpenManage Enterprise
Hi Is there any way to make a highly available OME configuration. Requirement is for OME to be able to handle a failover to a DR site. However DR site has different IP addresses so things like traps would go astray, if we just moved the VM.

Hello,
OMEnt doesn't support high availability at the moment. I've been advised that this may change in the future, though. You may find a configuration that could serve as a temporary solution, but it may be best to wait for the functionality to be supported by the appliance.

Hi,
I would say that OME does not support VMware-HA, as it's not listed in the supported hypervisors on management stations.
Though, I gave a look at the configuration deployment in the user guide, and found some settings about resource pool and cluster. I'm unsure if that can point to where you can try configure the appliance with HA. It's not tested by the engineering.
If you have tried deploying it, let us know here if it's a success, and to share the info in the community users.
