I want to help a potential new customer
Hello,
I have a friend that wants to be contacted by someone at Dell with information on Dell OpenManage Enterprise for the organization they work for. I do not believe they have an account with Dell. They are wanting to speak with someone knowledgeable about the product as well as getting some pricing information. How can I get them in contact with someone at Dell?

Every customer is assigned to a Dell Representive based on company size, location or type of business(public, gov, com).
Speaking about OME.... it free. It includes different Plugins which adds functions... and some of these have licence requirements. But these are not working as you may thought. The licencing is needed on the other end of the line which means you need license the iDRAC whithin the PowerEdge Server. It starts with Enterprise, DataCenter, Adv. Plus.
I have a PDF somewhere about ...
So.. OME is to work with existing Dell PowerEdge Servers... it will discovery some other Dell devices as well for the inventory but adds little to no when you have other brands.
If you referrer to Dell OpenManage.... thats just a very huge umbrella. Because iam a Dell Partner, here in Europe you can go with partner and contact Dell or just pick up the phone and call Dell directly. For sure they will route you a couple of times but at the end you will reach out your Dell Rep and its colleagues.
