One or more online catalogs could not be downloaded successfully due to network issue or invalid file or sign check failure.
Hello, in OME when trying to create a new Repository i am receiving the following error.
One or more online catalogs could not be downloaded successfully due to network issue or invalid file or sign check failure.
We are getting this error in both our test and production OME environments. does anyone know if this is an issue with the catalog or any other steps to troubleshoot this. I have rebooted the appliances and still get the error. I have found this happened to others before and was a problem with the catalog, but do not know how best to confirm.

Hi,
It looks like OME does not have a valid route to downloads.dell.com. Please log in to the VM Console > Go to Setup Debug Logging > Enable All Debug Logs > Close the Result dialog.
Go to Monitor > Troubleshoot > Appliance > Test Appliance Connection > Select Dell Online from the Sites menu > Click Test. What is the result?
Then go to Application Settings > Console and Plugins > Click Update Settings > Set the "Where to check for updates" option to Network Share > Enter "https://downloads.dell.com/openmanage_enterprise/" in the Local Path field > Click Test Now > Note the results > Click Apply > Click Yes to clear the temporary files > If the connection test was successful wait for the page to refresh. Please repeat the test for https://dl.dell.com/openmanage_enterprise/ and https://downloads.ins.dell.com/openmanage_enterprise/
If all tests pass go to Configuration > Firmware/Driver Compliance > Click on Catalog Management > Select one of the catalogs hosted by Dell > Click Check for Update > Does it report any errors? Does it update the Last Checked date?
If you are using the Update Manager Plugin to go Plugins > Update Management > Repository > Select a Repository whose catalogs are hosted by Dell > Click the refresh icon on the right under the name > Does it report any errors? Did the last updated timestamp change just above the Refresh button? Does the Catalog Versions match the Available Catalog Version?
Go to Monitor > Jobs > Clear All Filters > Look for the Job Type UMP_Update_Task with the Description of Repository Refresh > Select and click View Details > Scroll down to Execution Details > There will be a Execution Detail for the Repository-Catalog and Repository. Select each of these and note down or take screenshots of the Results and Messages fields. Also note the JobID in the URL, e.g. core/console/console.html#/core/monitor/monitor_portal/jobsDetails?jobsId=12839.
Go to Monitor > Troubleshoot > Logs > Click Generate Logs, wait for that to complete then click Download Logs.
If some test URL fails, I may suggest contacting the OME support and provide them with the downloaded logs to analyze the issue.

Hello thanks for choosing Dell. We tested it within (3.10/4.0 and update manager plugin as well) and it seems to be working fine now- we believe this is something in the past so would you be so kind to test it yourself once again and share us the screenshot of the error? We would like to know which catalog you are trying to use.
Respectfully,

Hello, are you trying to download a local catalog?
Or you can check if you reached the limit?
Respectfully,

Hi, we've just migrated from OME 3.10 to 4.1 and get the same error.
In v3.10 we can connect to the NFS but in v4.1 we get the "One or more online catalogs could not be downloaded successfully due to network issue or invalid file or sign check failure." error.
Can you provide any help? The previous posts don't help.
Thanks
