Racadm cli job problem
I'm creating a remote command line job to set the snmp trap destination community string using set idrac.ipmilan.communityname . The third object in my string is a "$" and when I run the command it says that is completed but in the results it says cleaned command and only uses the first two parts of the string which are letters and ignores everything else. If I run the command locally on a server it completes successfully. I've tried using single and double quotes around the community string and neither work. Any suggestions?

Just tested in Openmanage Essentials and the command runs correctly.

Input your service tag then choose option: Chat or Call (at the bottom of page)
I would recommend calling in and ask for the Systems Management support queue.
There may also be a fly-out tab on the page you can select Contact Us and follow prompts.

I appreciate the reply but there is no service tag to associate with this issues, it only happens running the command from the OpenManage enterprise console.

Hello Robert,
You can use the service tag of the machine OMEnterprise is installed on and you want to ask for the Systems Management group.
If you SSH to the DRAC does your command line run successfully?
What is the exact command line you run?
What is the model of the DRAC/ Server?
I did find an example:
Set the SNMP Trap Community name for idrac6 and idrac7:
C:\Windows\system32>racadm -r https://dell.to/3pLEeB6 -u root -p calvin config -g cfgIPMIlan -o cfgipmipetcommunityname hcms.snmp
Check Settings:
C:\Windows\system32>racadm -r https://dell.to/3pLEeB6 -u root -p calvin getconfig -g cfgIPMIlan
cfgIpmiLanEnable=0
cfgIpmiLanPrivilegeLimit=4
cfgIpmiLanAlertEnable=0
