ST8000NM0195
Seagate drives always show as unknown in Dell OME even if I check against the Dell online catalog. I searched the Dell Support website and Seagate's website and neither have any information on this model drive. The server also has Toshiba SSDs and those have updates. Do the Seagate drives never get updates?

Hi @Mtngoat1979,
Some Seagate drive do get updates, but currently no firmware update for ST8000NM0195. OME may continue showing as unknown, I've checked with engineering, there isn't any way to ignore the prompt of unknown.
But if you're uncomfortable and would like for an enhancement, perhaps, I would suggest for customers to contact the OME support to raise a ticket.
