Broadcom drivers version appears to be incorrect on latest online catalog
Hi group, for several server models I'm getting weird new driver versions, as an example usually they go from 7.4.14.0 to 7.5.0.0 ot 8.0.0.0 but this time, for a M910 blade it's trying to update from 7.2.1.0 to 17.6.0.0
Could it be a typo on the 17 instead of 7?
Anyone experiencing this issue?

Hi,
Latest catalog lists the version for Broadcom driver as 17.6.0.0 and this is the right version. Update from 7.2.1 to 17.6.0.0 will go through successfully.

Yes srdegeus, I used repository manager to get the correct catalog and then used it into OME for updating

Hi,
There is a thread related to this issue. OME can't really fix this issue.
It will be fixed with the release of new catalog. More details in the thread below:

After installing the driver package 17.6.0.0 (Network_Driver_CYKKJ_WN_17.6.0.0_17.6.0.12.EXE) it keeps getting detected in OME as 7.6.2.0
When I run SUU 7.3.0.111 it shows up-to-date with driver version 17.6.0
Seems that OME detects the driver version in the wrong way. (OME version 1.2.0.3441)

Thanks for your replies.
I followed the advice from fmonroy and imported the catalog from SUU 7.3.0
This almost fixed the 'wrong' detection as "17.6.0" is not the same as "17.6.0.0" and was still listed. I then edited the catalog.xml and changed the shown version for the driver to match "17.6.0". This would keep me happy in the mean time until the new catalog is released.
