Dell Infrastructure management for VMware environment
Hi,
We have purchased some bunch of Dell rack servers. I need to figure out a tool to maintain, monitor and automate setup of dozens of rack servers.
Dell is new to me and I am not sure exactly which tool is for me. I read some information about, OpenManage Server Administrator, OpenManage Enterprise app, and CloudIQ.
The trick is that, our environment will be isolated from internet access, None of servers can access none of external network. Server Infra level communication will be limited on internal network.
So which tool is for me? I will need to setup servers, idrac and further Esxi installations need to be automted, and then Will be using Autodeploy on VMware for all rest of configurations.
Hope I shared enough to get information.

Hi,
For multiple devices, I suggest you look into OpenManage Enterprise. OpenManage Server Administrator will help you to monitor and analyze logs on a single server where it is mostly installed. I don't know much about CloudIQ, but it is a management tool developed for EMC products. If you will not have internet access, you can make future updates offline on OME.
