OME 1.3 Install hangs on 'Loading prerequisite information'
Title says it all. I have built numerous VMs all with the same result. I am using Server 2008 R2 x64 with IE 11/ .NET 4.5.1 installed with all Microsoft updates. IE ESC is disabled.
The circle just keeps spinning forever.
Any ideas?

Make sure the installer downloaded is unrestricted via r-click properties.
Make sure the user is running the install as administrator.

Hi,
Can you also tell if your SQL is installed on a local system or is it a remote db? Are you able to connect to the SQL db outside of OME? If you double click on the launch screen you will see the logs for launching, can you attach a screenshot of the error message?

Hi,
I was already running as Admin. What I had to do what get the Sysinternals streams utility -- it allowed me to 'Unblock' every file in the folder without having to do them individually (542 files!).
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Unblocking the main Autorun.exe wasn't enough.
