OME running as AD account.
I have long since setup and have been using OME. It works great. Today I setup a syslog viewer for our domain controllers and noticed that OME is using my Domain Admin account for logons about 100+ times a minute. I have traced the logons back to the OME server, but cannot for the life of me remember where I set the account to run as my domain account. I would prefer to change OME to run with a service account that the password does not change on. Can anyone point me to where I need to change this at so the logons are not running as my account? Thanks!

Hi,
Thanks for your post.
It is possible that you used your domain admin credentials while installing OME.
For changing the credentials in OME, you can do the following. Shut down OME services. Change the password for the domain adming account and then start OME. That should popup an error message in OME about failed login. After closing the message, you will see an option to retarget. Use the new service account for OME. After that you can restart OME services and change the password back for your domain account.

what kind of permissions would a service account need for this to work properly? I assume admin rights to any device it runs inventory for ?
