Problem integrating OME and Repository Manager
I am trying to create a OME Repository in Repository Manager. My account is a member of OmeAdministrators. In the second part (Source Repository) I've tried using both ftp.dell.com and a local repository I created earlier in Repository Manager. Trying it each way fails with the following:
"An error occurred while checking user permissions."
Takes me to a dialogue box for OME User Credentials where I can input a username and password. If I ignore the error and continue, it eventually fails completely with:
"Error retrieving inventory from Dell OpenManage Essentials"
Any ideas?

Or...another work around would be to run RM with Administrative privileges using Run As Administrator option.

Hi Scott,
Can you tell me if the account you are using is a member of the local administrators group on the OME server?
Thanks,
Rob

My domain admin account is in the local OmeAdministrators group. But using the Run As Administrator option worked. Thanks.

Thanks for the update Scott. One last thing to check is whether the user is part of the "Windows" local admin group (not just the OmeAdministrators).
But RAA is fine too. thx
