DELL OME and DRM integration issues
Hello
Every time i attempt to create a new repository with DRM i get an error.
DRM is able to connect the to OME server, i can see all the machines, then when atempting to create the bundles, it keeps saying "error retrieving inventory from DELL OME"
OME is version 1.3
DRM is version 1.9
OME does indeed do the inventory no problem, and i can see updates that are available.
Whats the difference of applying updates with OME directly, versus using DRM?
DRM does connect to the OME server(on same machine) and then displays the computers, but when it attempts to proccess updates to create the bundle, i get a error retrieving inventory from dell open manage essentials.
This was all working before i update the OME and DRM versions.
Thanks for the help

Hi,
It would be of great help if you can upload the log file.
DRM > Help > Copy Log files
and please attach in the "Options" section tab in this page. We will investigate and update you.
DRM helps you to create a custom repository necessary for your inventory.

Hi,
Looking at the log issue is not very clear. We need to look at the database to understand the root cause of the issue.
Are you using online catalog as the source?
Is this database used in DRM 1.8 also? or created afresh?
It is not clear from the logs when did you sync Catalog. Have you done a log cleanup manually?
Can you upload the DB also if possible %localappdata%\RepositoryManager\Database\RepositoryManager.sdf.
Or else you can Close DRM and take a rename this DB
and start a fresh and try again the sequence.
This will create a fresh database.

Not sure about the other person, but I was having this issue and renaming the SDF worked for me! Thanks!
