Unable to Create a Local Repository
RM v1.9.0.155 and OME v2.0.1.2222
I downloaded from the FTP site all the necessary updates for my environment and saved the Repository to a local directory. I moved the files to a local directory within a DMZ. I have installed RM within the DMZ along with OME. OME was configured without issue and connects to a SQL 2008 R2 database. A discovery and inventory was then performed without error. I can then open the Repository Manager and select Application\Settings\Source Repository. I then point to the directory with the catalog.xml. I am able to View Source and update the RM database.
However, when I go to create a New Repository, I input a Name and then when prompted to select a Repository, all options are greyed out. I have tried to create the other types of Repositories after selecting New, but all of them are greyed out when I am prompted to Select.
What am I missing? Please advise.

Did you see a link on top right corner which says "New Local Source".
Probably the catalog provided was not converted to a repository.
DRM 1.9.0 was demoted because of some issues. Please try to user DRM 2.0.0

Yes, I tried New Local Source many times with no results. Today, I installed the 2.0.0.187 version on a new server with a fresh build and the Local Repository option is still greyed out.
I have tried creating a new empty repository and then adding Bundles, but when the new repository is created the application is practically unresponsive, but the server resources are abundant.

Hi
I understand your requirement as
you have OME in your DMZ and want a way to create repo for the inventory.
I suggest the following steps.
1. download http://downloads.dell.com/Catalog/Catalog.cab
extract and copy to DMZ zone.
2. Open DRM in DMZ >Source Repository>Local Path
3. This will create a link in top right corner of DRM "New Local Source"
4. Click on this and it will sync the catalog to database.
5. go to "My Repositories" > New> Dell OME inventory
Provide a Name
Choose local source repository as source.
and proceed with OME authentication.
This should create a repository for you.
You can save this catalog using save option (Only Catalog)
bring out of DMZ
load into a DRM using "Help > Import prev version catalog"
Save Repository with components.(Repository Save option).
And create a qualified repository to be used with OME.

I greatly appreciate this advice. I have tried that method numerous times, but every time the options to create a new Repository are greyed out. I have now removed the DRM from the DMZ as this tool is no longer a feasible or time effective solution.
I was able to export from DRM, on my workstation, via a filter to create an SUU directory. I moved that directory into the DMZ and was able to perform comparisons and deliver updates. Although I did get some errors on software updates which made them fail, I hope to troubleshoot and resolved today.
