emcgrab for vmware esxsever
Hello,
anyone know whether there is EMCGrab utility that is scripts for vmware; or are there any such things out there?
emc would like us to run emcgrab on our servers.
We have vmware esx 3.0.1 servers.
When we ran the emcgrab_Linux_v3.9_1 version on one of our vmware esx 3.0.1 servers, we got the following warning: WARNING: This is a VMware ESX Server. It is recommended to run the vm-support script instead of EMCGrab. In any case, the output of EMCGrab and vm-support on this server is not supported by HEAT for analysis purposes.Do you want to continue (Y/N)
any hints extremely appreciated!

ESX has a support log you can pull. Possibly this is what they want.
Did you ask where to get an EMCgrab for ESX?

the emcgrab linux version we have is from emc
but when we ran it, it gives the the warning message
