24 inch monitor video card

I'm considering getting the 2405FPW 24-inch Flat Panel LCD Monitor and I currently have a 6800gs video card. I checked the suggested video cards and it lists the 6800 as being compatible, but i'm not sure if the 6800gs is (or where it falls compared to a 6800). Will my video card be okay? Would I have to lower the resolutions on games to play them? I'm not sure how it works. I mainly play mmorpg's like WOW, not first person shooters.
