Dell Dimension 2400 Desktop PC

Good Evening All.......I have, as of about a month ago, a Dimension 2400 Desktop that a friend of mine purchased back in March 2005. Her family gave the desktop to me to see if I can do anything with it (sell it, give it away, etc.). I have done a little upgrading, but what I'd like is a little help in replacing the power supply from 200 Watt to a 300 Watt. The new power supply came today from www.tigerdirect.com . One thing that Dell installs over the cpu heatsink is a green plastic air shroud (air cover for heatsink.....to best of my knowledge).......do I need to remove the entire heatsink from the cpu in order to install the new power supply into place? I would prefer not to have to remove the heatsink, maybe if there is a way for me to temporarily remove the green plastic shroud so i can get the PSU into place? Here are the main SPECS for the Dimension 2400, in event anyone needs to know: Intel Celeron 2.40GHz CPU; 40 GB WD-Caviar 7200rpm IDE Hard Drive; LiteON DVD-ROM Optical Drive; Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition

THANX ANYBODY!!!!

Jimmy

Below I enclosed a photo of the Dimension 2400:

Thanks Jack........after posting my question on Dell Community I decided to simply install my PSU.....everything worked out fine; so thanks for your answer.

Dell's instructions for replacing the power supply are here:  Dimension 2400 Service Manual - Removing and Installing Parts.

It appears you need to remove the fan assembly, but not necessarily remove the heat sink.
