dell op 780 4GB Ram

hi everyone, i had an problem with upgrade the ram of dell op 780 , it was 1GB*2 and i won upgrade to 6 gb ddr3 i buy 4 gb sandisk 10600 cl9 and after fixing ram and start up pc show beebs. are there an update for moterbord? or i have to change ram?

Hi mohd almawlani,

The Dell OptiPlex 780 can be configured with DDR3 1067 or 1333 MHz Non-ECC Memory only and supports minimum of 1GB to maximum of 8GB memory on the 4 Dimm slots. Please check if the RAM is having the correct clock speed of 1067 or 1333 MHz and is Non-ECC Memory.

tnx. i tryd with my old ram Type DDR3 Size 4096 MBytes Manufacturer TwinMOS Max Bandwidth PC3-10700 (667 MHz) Part Number 9DECBNZB-TATP Serial Number BBD41210 SPD Ext. EPP its the same but one it tell me he was fix one same kingstone tell me try to upgrade bios
