Dimension 8200 Won`t Boot Up

When I start my pc it won`t boot and I get a black screen with F1 to retry boot, and then I get F2 for setup utility. Go to Boot and it won`t recognize cdrom or hard drive. On the back of the pc I`ve got three green lights and one yellow. . Any suggestions on how to get it to boot up. Thank you.

That message is what you get when it can't find a boot device. That makes sense given the CD and HD are not being detected.

What is the pattern of diagnostic lights (A-B-C-D)?

Are the HD and CD enabled in the BIOS setup? Your CMOS battery may have died if you haven't replaced it yet.

I replaced the battery and now have the first three lights green and the last yellow. CD and HD are not enabled in the bios setup.

You should look up the diagnostic light pattern to see what it means.

Did you try enabling the CD and HD?
