GX270's and 280's video problem/Windows 2000 Pro

I have a number of GX270's and GX280's using standard on-board video. When booted, they get to the WIndows 2000 start screen, then lose video. The computer seemingly continues to boot as usual, but the video will not return. If I power the computer down, then restart it, it works fine until shut down overnight, then does it again each morning. Any ideas? I have updated both the monitor drivers (Dell 1702FP, 1703FP, and 1704FPV) and video drivers.

I found the same thing.  A number of the capacitors on the motherboard were bulging, and others were actually leaking.  They had a rust-looking substance on top of them.

After reading the forum for several hours, I've come to the conclusion that its busted capacitors on the motherboard creating the problem.  Won't Dell service love me when I call them to replace 10 mobos.
