In the XPS 9000/435T which of the 6 DIIM slots are used for four 2GB modules
There are 6 DIMM slots in the XPS9000/435T
I have 4 2GB Memory modules
In which slots do these modules go?????
Some of the slots are red and some are blue but none are numbered
The fan is next to the slots which I believe is above the Intel CPU

According to the manual, counting from the CPU, the slots are numbered 2-1-4-3-6-5

You should install matched modules in connectors DIMM_1, DIMM_3, and DIMM_5 (blue connectors) first and then matched memory modules in connectors DIMM_2, DIMM_4, and DIMM_6 (pink connectors).
4x 2 GB may not be a supported RAM configuration, but if you want to try it, I'd put them in slots 1,3, 2,4. Each pair (eg, slots 1 and 3) has to be matched modules.

This system does not use Pairs in dual channel slots. It uses 3 ram chips in 2 banks.
1 2 3 is one set and 4 5 6 is the other. You cannot mix speed and rank and density within a bank.
Tri channel ram configuration REQUIRES sets of 3 not 2.
Max ram 24 gigs
Slots 6 (2 banks of 3)
