Latest list of supported video cards for Dell Inspiron 580
Hi. We're supporting our customer using Dell Inspiron 580. He would like to upgrade his video since he got a brand new monitor that can support a resolution up to 3840x2160 while his Inspiron 580 can only goes up to 1920x1080. We tried with GeForce GT710 but we saw on another thread that it was one of the cards not supported on this machine.
Are there video cards that we can use to get him up to higher resolution?
nVidia GT220 1GB
nVidia M207 1GB
AMD Radeon HD 5670 1GB
AMD Radeon HD 5450, 1G
...were listed as supported but they go up to about 2500s. Any newer cards (or more powerful cards) that can fit in Inspiron 580?

A-SOLUTIONS SUPPORT,
To get this high of a resolution on a 2009 system you would also need to replace the power supply to a higher wattage. You would need to google video cards that meet the criteria you are wanting to achieve. Unfortunately, I have no list of these cards. Dell only tested the discrete video cards below in this computer.
