i assume you have a full duplex sound card/modem and also you have set tuning wizard (tools menu of NM) Now, you don't have to log on to NM server. either get your daughter's IP address or send her your IP address. How to get IP?
1. click start
2. click Run
3. type Winipcfg
4. click ok.
the IP configuration appears. now, copy the numbers on the right of the IP Address name including the dots... for example 219.300.34.78
then type these numbers in the area in netmeeting. (click on the space below the toolbars and type).. then click the telephone icon... NM should be open on both ends. make sure the camera buttons are set to "send"..
