Power supply for my Dell Vostro 200s

​Hello,​

​Does anybody know where I can buy a new power supply for my Vostro 200S?​

​The ventilator is making a lot of noise, I think it is defect.​

​I can't find anything on the internet.​

​Somebody a suggestion?​

HERE is a replacement.  However, I would suggest any TFX type unit and probably go with this one HERE.  It's less money and brand new.

Thanks for your quick reaction,

I already cleaned the fan, but I think it is unbalanced.

I'm located in Holland.

So I hope that the suggested companies deliver to my country.

Hi jschuurkes,

It appears that the sound is coming from the power supply fan. You may try cleaning the vents using a compressed air can to ensure proper ventilation. Vostro 200S uses a TFX power supply unit.

Note: Please refer to the safety instructions in the manual before replacing the power supply.

You may also contact the Dell Spare parts and Accessories department. If the system is in US, you may contact Dell spares at:  http://dell.to/PlvA9D

In case you belong to a different region, you can change your country from the drop down menu.

    

Log in to website and click on ‘Contact Dell Sales’. You will get the contact information to get in touch with Dell Spare Parts and Accessories department.
