you have to push F2 on restart of computer.  boot sector opens. Scroll down. if you see "Legacy"? Change from Legacy to UEFI. Then push save and exit.

Dell's solution for a 2000-0146 error, is the remove and reinstall the hard drive.

No difference, then the hard drive has failed and you need to replace it, followed by reinstalling Windows.

Hi,

Even I had the same error. When I try diagnosis, the error code it displayed is 2000-0146

Please suggest a good solution.

The problem, I think, is with active partition. I may have made active partition inactive using diskpart command. I even don't have windows os to enter repair. Help in solving the issue. Thanks in advance

I use dell inspiron n5010 with windows 7 os

Hello sir,

I'm also facing same reboot issue.

After reading what all things you've mentioned here to check in BIOS, its showing" Fixed HDD None and SATA ODD PLDS DVD+/-RW DS-8A8SH " in my pc.

I'm using Dell Vostro 1540
