Replacing Dell XPS 710 motherboard
Can someone advise me on how I can get a replacement motherboard for my Dell XPS 710?
I've been trying to buy one from Dell, in fact I've just placed my third order for it today. The first couple of times, my order was canceled because the part wasn't in stock--which is what Customer Care told me. Yet everytime I call Dell Sales, there's always plenty in stock. Funny right?

I have found that the most cost-effective (if not the only) method of getting a motherboard replacement on the XPS 710 to be calling or chatting with Dell to get the warranty reinstated. ~$250 for 1 year or ~$275 for 2 years (each system is warranty-able for 5 years max). This 1 year or 2 year fee is piece of mind as well as cheaper that performing the motherboard replacement/upgrade to 720 specs yourself.
