My XPS-T has a total of 5 PCI slots, one ISA slot, and one AGP. How they all get used may depend on what configuration you get, but on mine, the video is AGP, all drives (I have 2 CD-ROMS, 1 HD, 1 floppy) go to the motherboard, and the Sound card and modem each occupy a PCI slot. That leaves 3 PCI and one ISA open.
Check that PCI & ISA again... I belive you will find it is an set up to use one or the other. If you install an ISA it will block the bottom PCI. Likewise if you put a PCI card in the bottom slot you will lose the ISA.
Basicly you have 3 slots open. I had to remove the winmodem card and go to an external modem to free up one more slot.
